Adam Lee Financial is currently operating in three locations; Treherne, Portage La Prairie, and Winnipeg, offering such products as GIC’s, investments, segregated funds, and insurance. We have combined our expertise in the investment world with in-depth tax knowledge to tailor unique solutions to a variety of client needs. Taxation has become an integral part of our business as reduction in taxes means an increase in the overall estate.

The founders of Adam Lee Financial Services Inc. came together in 1997 with different strengths which have been tailored to provide expertise not easily accessible with other firms. With the combination of experience dating back to 1969, tax preparation since 1982, and complex market analysis and understanding, client needs are met from all perspectives.

I have two passions in my life: my family, and being a Financial Advisor.

I love what I do as an advisor, and I especially love working as a team. We have a great group of individuals here, and we all work together and learn from each other. Along with being mentored by an experienced group of investment and tax professionals including my father, I also had the fortunate experience of starting my career as a financial advisor during the 2008 financial crisis. I definitely did not look at it that way at the time, but I know now that it was an invaluable learning experience. I learned that diversification is essential, and so is being extremely thorough when determining a client's true risk tolerance. I also realized very early on just how important the relationships we have with our clients are. Trust and good communication are key, and when clients become friends, I know I'm doing my job well.

I live with my family in Treherne and love spending time with my husband and boys and extended family. My work life and home life are interwoven, and I do what I do both for my clients' peace of mind and also for my kids' futures. Our business is a family business and our clients are our family members, community members and friends.

I come from an agricultural background and I have been involved in that industry since I was old enough to reach the pedals on a tractor and see over the dash. I stayed with it for many years after graduating high school and then receiving a Diploma in AgriBusiness. While growing up on the farm, attending college, and working in the industry over the years, I gained a lot of experience in many different areas that gave me a broad base of knowledge of which I am very grateful for.

When I started at Adam Lee Financial in 2011, I was mentored by some of the best out there who showed me that we are really in a service industry and helping people is the most fulfilling part. Working in a family business has been such a benefit and has taught me that the relationships we have with our clients are the most important aspect of what we do. Being a part of this incredible team has helped me gain knowledge across a broad range of financial aspects including tax, insurance and most important of all, helping our clients achieve their goals.

While I’m not directly involved in agriculture anymore, I still live in the farming community of Treherne and I have been rewarded with my amazing wife and two fantastic boys, who have all taught me so many things and helped make me who I am today.

From a young age, I wanted to follow in my father’s footsteps and join the family business. Once I graduated from high school, I decided to pursue a diploma in business administration at Red River College. I worked at the office during summer breaks from school, and when I graduated from college I started working full time. I started out as an assistant, but in the spring of 2018, I purchased Adam Accounting from my father and became a Financial Advisor with Adam Lee Financial.

I believe that my knowledge in tax combined with investments and insurance is ideal for my career as a Financial Advisor. There is no better feeling than building relationships with clients and being able to make a positive difference in their financial situation.

I have always been close with my family and I love the family atmosphere around Adam Lee Financial. When I’m not in the office I enjoy many different activities such as golf, hockey, Belgian bowling, camping, hunting and fishing.

I was born and raised in the Treherne area, and moved to Winnipeg at the age of 17, spending over 26 years building a professional career in the transportation industry. While my professional path began outside the world of finance, my experience taught me the importance of precision, communication, and strong client service, all of which I bring with me into my current role at Adam Lee Financial.

In 2018, I met my husband, and in 2021 we made the decision to move back to my hometown, a place that has always felt like home. I joined Adam Lee Financial in 2024 as part of the administrative team and completed my Mutual Funds licensing in early 2025. Today, I serve as both a licensed Financial Advisor and an integral part of the firm’s administrative operations.

I’ve known the Adam Family for over 30 years, and working here has truly felt like coming home and becoming part of a second family. That same family spirit extends to our clients, many of whom are friends, neighbors, and familiar faces in the community. I’m proud to be part of a team where relationships come first, and where every client is treated with care and respect.

Outside of the office, I enjoy golfing, volunteering in the community, and spending time with my husband and our dog, Waylon. We love to travel in the winter and spend our summers camping at our seasonal site. Whether at work or at home, relationships, trust, and connection are at the heart of everything I do.

I love helping people—and one of the most rewarding parts of my work is building genuine connections with clients who often become friends.

I joined Adam Lee Financial in July 2020, following in my father’s footsteps alongside my siblings, Jolene and Rylan. After working as part of the administrative team in our Portage office, I completed my mutual funds course in the spring and am now proud to be working as a Financial Advisor while still managing administrative processing. My background in education—teaching high school Math and English in Glenboro for five years—taught me the importance of communication, patience, and understanding individual needs, all of which have been invaluable in my role here.

Outside of work, I love spending time with family and friends. I also enjoy hockey, Belgian bowling, reading, and travelling. Photography and scrapbooking are longtime hobbies of mine, and I’ve had the pleasure of photographing our annual Adam Lee Financial Christmas Party since its inception in 2013.

Michelle joined Adam Lee Financial in 2003 and has been an integral part ever since. She manages administrative processing and excels in personal tax preparation for Adam Accounting.

Michelle lives in Treherne with her three boys and enjoys making her community a better place by donating her time and experience to many community foundations.

Hannah moved to Canada from Marshall, MN in November of 2016 to work towards her accounting certification. She just recently started with both Adam Lee Financial and Adam Accounting Service in October of 2020, helping with administrative duties such as contacting clients, organizing the office, prep work, maintaining files, and monthly accounting.

She enjoys spending time with Rylan, going for walks, hunting, fishing, and camping with the family. She also loves playing rolle bolle (Belgian bowling).

Jackie started as the receptionist in our Portage office in mid-August 2022. She assists clients at the front desk and on the phone, prepares statements for meetings, and helps other staff with various paperwork.

Jackie currently lives in Oakville with her husband, two cats, and one dog. She enjoys fishing, reading, hiking, art, and drinking coffee with friends.

Lila started with us in the fall of 2021 as a casual member of our staff. She organizes the office, helps maintain files, and assists clients who call or come into the office.

Lila also continues to work in the health care field in her retirement as well as on the family farm near Holland. She enjoys being a grandma, curling, yoga, and going to her cabin to boat and fish.

Jennifer is a casual hire who started in May of 2021. She answers phones, helps clients who come in, assists in maintaining files, and organizes the office.

Jennifer lives outside of Portage with her husband and two children. They spend a lot of time outdoors in their pool. She enjoys gardening, reading, and birdwatching.
